NETS: 2 and 6 Materials: ·Stone Fox ·Senteo/ Smartboard Prior Knowledge: Have read the story Stone Fox Procedure: This will be a lesson/assessment that will follow the completion of the story “Stone Fox”. The student will be given out Senteo clickers and will have to answer questions that are being presented on the Smartboard. Each clicker will be assigned to a particular student so that accurate records can be kept. This will allow meas, as the teacher, to generate an understanding of each student’s comprehension. The students will be working independently to answer all questions. The students will be given questions that offer the opportunity to answer via the Senteo clicker. After all answers have posted the teacher will reflect on the responses and discuss why students felt they way they did. There will also be questions that reflect particular situations in the story that have specific answers.
Assessment: All students will have individual files so that I can obtain a semi-accurate understanding of the children’s listening comprehension and ability to answer these questions.
